Martin Bermoser, the austrian actor and singer began his career in 1998 in Vienna. 

After a numerous projects also in New York, Berlin and Stuttgart he nowadays continues his work in Vienna.

Martin grew up in a small village, Döbriach, Carinthia, lower Austria surrounded by music and sport activities. He got tuned in a church choir and on the tennis court he trained a lot until he became a tennis teacher. At the age of 18 he started his acting career at the state-acting-school Vienna conservatory.

 

Within his career he worked with several great directors in film and theater ,such as Michael Haneke, Stéphane Foenkinos, Alain Gsponer, Harald Sicheritz, Wolfgang Murnberger, Mara Mattuschka, Barry Kosky, Robert Meyer, Michael Schottenberg, Arturas Valudskis, Astrid Griesbach, Folke Braband, Bernd Mottl...

 

In 2005 he became the first Austrian Blue Man in the NYC Off-Broadway Show BLUE MAN GROUP, and that gave him the opportunity to live and work in New York and later in Berlin.

He acted in film and TV like  „Die Klavierspielerin“, „Karl der Grosse“, „Nur ein Schritt“ and „Stimmen“ or „Tatort“, „Schnell ermittelt“ and „Komissar Rex“, played diverse roles in many theatre plays, like Stanley Kowalski in „A streetcar named desire“ ,Troilus in „Troilus and Cressida“ or the Soldier in „Andorra“, followed by Musicals at the Vienna Volksoper, such as „Kiss me Kate“ or „Sound of music“.

 

Since 2010 Martin participates at the ITNY method-acting workshops by Robert Castle, an internationally known actor and director. In 2013 he was invited to Virtuosi-meeting on Weitra Castle/Austria, where he worked on Shakespeare-scenes with actors from all over the world.

 

Martin developed over the years a great passion for Yoga and Capoeira, and he`s been doing it now for more then a decade.
